At Color Outside the Lines, our mission is to inspire kids to let their creativity run wild and explore the world of artistic expression. With our backgrounds in childcare, childhood psychology, and fine arts, our team understands the importance of nurturing each child's unique talents. We believe that every child is filled with endless imagination, and we are here to guide them in letting it shine. Our passionate team loves teaching and is committed to providing a fun, supportive environment where your child can discover the joy of the arts. Whether it's acting, singing, playwriting, dancing, painting, drawing, or sculpting, we are here for your child on their artistic journey.
Mira Bruce-Low
Co-Founder
Hi! I'm Mira Bruce-Low, Co-Founder of Color Outside the Lines Camp. I am currently a second year at Cal Poly SLO where I am majoring in Child Development. I spend my days teaching at the on-campus Preschool Learning Lab, working with infants at daycare, volunteering at the SLO Children's museum, volunteering for children's theater and babysitting ... One could say that my passion is working with kids! In my free time, I love spending time with my friends, family, and dogs, as well as surfing, baking, watching theater, and playing sports!
Mae and I wanted to find a way to combine our two loves and future life's work, and what better than an art-based summer camp! My favorite part of camp is watching the campers have the space to learn and grow through art and play. Their creativity blossoms when they're allowed to follow their curiosity and have support from the camp community. I can't wait to see you all this summer!

Hi! I'm Mae McCarthy! I'm the co-founder of Color Outside the Lines Camp. It is my dream to get to inspire and nurture the creativity of our campers alongside my best friend and co-founder Mira. I am currently a Sophomore at the Rhode Island School of Design, getting a BFA majoring in Illustration. I spend my days painting, drawing, designing, and creating. My childhood was filled with endless creativity and wonder.
Natalie Burton
Counselor
Hi! I'm Natalie, and I'm so excited to return to Color Outside the Lines Camp this summer! Last year, I had an amazing time working with the kids and helping them explore their creativity. I am currently a student at Sonoma Academy in Santa Rosa, where I lead our STEM club, "Steminism", I also work at the Robert Ferguson Observatory, working with the 40 inch refractor telescope. I am also a lifeguard at the Petaluma Swim Center and love helping people stay safe in the water. ON top of my passion for science, I also love singing, theater, and spending time with my family and friends. I can't wait for another summer full of learning, laughter, and adventure. See you there!
Gigi Bruce-Low

Hi! I'm Gigi Bruce-Low, a Counselor in Training at Color Outside the Lines Camp. I'm an incoming freshman in high school, and I can't wait to spend my summer at camp! I've been involved in the arts since before I could talk. I love dancing, singing, theater, and makeup. In my free time, I love to babysit, bake, spend time with my friends and family, and playing with my dogs. I can't wait for this summer!
